Interesting list. Glad to see there's someone else who likes artichokes, too. :) We eat them about once a year, when my mother gives in to my constant pestering and actually buys them. Usually the artichokes "look as though they've walked all the way from Mexico", as my mother puts it, and are exorbitantly expensive (for five people--Brother1 doesn't like them).
Washington state? It must seem like a desert out here in Oklahoma if that's where you lived! My flute teacher back at home came from Washington state, and used to complain to me that Oklahoma is like a desert--very hard to get anything to grow in a garden (even weeds take work :).
I like artichokes, too. My mom doesn't cook them, though, so we never really have them. The ones here do look rather pathetic. o_O
Shadow, your job list is very very interesting. I've never read "The Mysterious Island" by Jules Verne, but the author choice is understandable to me. "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" was my favorite book for quite awhile!
Glad to see "Monsters, Inc." finally made it into a top-four list. That movie is hilarious!
